Why a Scale Turbine RC Helicopter?
Why a Scale Turbine RC Helicopter?
RC helicopters come in various forms and can be categorized in numerous ways whether it is by ability, power capacity, or size.
The most common form of a RC helicopter is a basic toy version which can be found in any toy store around. They can be used by almost anyone and are relatively inexpensive compared to the hobby grade RC helicopters. They do not operate the same as hobby grade ones but they are fun and a good way to introduce a young child to the hobby. Micro coaxial RC helicopters are sometimes still categorized with toy helicopters but much more sophisticated yet are still small in size. They are a great way to learn how to maneuver a RC helicopter because of their low cost and small size yet are still adored by avid hobbyists.
Larger electric RC helicopters have become more popular in recent years because of recent developments in batteries and their capacity. Batteries now last longer than in the past which makes using an electrically charged battery more feasible and easier. It is now possible to fly a helicopter longer because batteries now last longer and are actually lighter. Because the newer batteries provide more power than in the past it is possible for skilled hobbyists to maneuver while being quieter than before. Most RC helicopters sold in toy stores are electric but it is more common to see larger RC helis that are electrically powered then before.
Nitro powered remote controlled helicopters are powered by Nitro fuel. They are favored by hobbyists due to their relatively low price and unbelievable power. The Nitro engine in small yet is able to power larger more sophisticated aircraft. The engines used in Nitro RC helicopters are usually called ?glow engines? this is because they use a glow plug instead of a spark plug. They also use a particular fuel which is made up of methanol, oil, and nitro methane.
One more type of RC helicopter is the Gas powered RC helicopter. It is sometimes confused with Nitro powered helicopters but it is actually similar in mechanics but has a completely different engine. They use fuel which consists of regular gasoline and is mixed with two cycle oil. The engines are relatively larger when compared to the Nitro engine and it is also more expensive when compared to it as well.

Walkera Genius CP 3D Flight and Durability Test
Walkera Genius CP 3D Flight and Durability Test Video Clips.
Here we put this new Genius CP Helicopter to its first test of 3D and Durability by flying it indoors and crashing it so many times on hard concrete grounds. This helicopter flying on 3D mode on 3 axis Gyro simply amazed us by its ultra durable qualities where it took all those bad crashes and still kept on flying and kept on pulling 3D. what a sweet helicopter. I am in love. This FBL mini helicopter is totally perfect for beginners of 6 channel helicopter to learn to fly on and for practicing some 3D and or having fun with some 3D without worries about crashes. This thing takes crashes with a smile and keeps on flying. Another extreme challenge flight video will be up after the 3D flight and durability test video. RC Helicopter Guide
RC Helicopter Guide
Radio controlled helicopters, or RC helicopters, are a type of model aircraft. These models come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and designs. Some are made to for speed while others are created for greater maneuverability. The aircraft is powered by small servo motor in the center and operated by a remote control and antenna device.
RC helicopters are popular flown by hobbyists for entertainment and recreation. Although they take some practice to master, they can eventually become very fun to fly. Aside from flying for fun, they are also use in remote inspection, filming, aerial photography, and even policing. Specialized aircrafts are usually quite expensive and can only be bought directly from the manufacturer.
Helicopters are more difficult to fly than planes because they require the user to control the balance and thrust at the same time. Just as a real-life pilot has to operate the yoke and pedals, and remote control pilot needs to use both controls simultaneously. Some helicopters are made easier to fly by automating some of the processes, but customers will still need to learn how to fly them.
A helicopter is a far more convenient aircraft to have around compared to a glider or a model jet. A glider requires constant wind to fly, so it is not conducive for areas that are windy. Model jets require a large amount of space for level flight, which is a luxury that some people do not have. Helicopters do not need any space for take-off and landing so they can be flown almost anywhere. Smaller version can even be flown indoors if you are careful not to hit the walls or ceiling.
The average model jet has a flight life of ten to fifteen minutes. RC helicopters are much slower, but they can last for well over half an hour. High speed helicopters are much faster, but their flight time is limited to the same as a model jet. Most engines are powered by a set of normal batteries that can be replaced at any supermarket. However, high end aircrafts may be powered by gasoline, diesel, or even nitrous oxide. Although these aircraft are very fast, they are fairly unpopular because of their premium cost. The most popular helicopters have lithium batteries that can last for thirty minutes. Once the battery life has been depleted, in can be recharged so the user does not have to buy new batteries each time.

Hirobo Lepton EX-3D Review
Hirobo Lepton EX-3D Review
Electric RC helicopters are becoming so popular that RC helicopter manufacturing giants who used to stick with gas models are starting to produce electric ones. Recently, Hirobo follows that trend and released a new high-end electric RC helicopter, the "Lepton EX-3D". This model is one in which Hirobo claims is capable of flying the most advanced 3D maneuvers right out of the box - a claim in which RC Flying Thailand sets out the test.
In fact, before actually getting their hands on this model, RC Flying has had two chances to see it in flight. In both occasions the flight was flown under constant heavy winter wind. Nevertheless, the Lepton didn't show any problems and landed safely. Therefore, even without flying it, it is safe to say that the claim that this model is extremely wind-resistant is well founded.
The Lepton EX-3D is a world class helicopter made by a world class RC helicopter manufacturer who aims to please advance pilots. The whole model stands just slightly smaller than a typical .32 gas model, making it durable, wind resistant while at the same time easily transportable.
Hirobo Japan positions the Lepton EX-3D as one of their top models. In this honor, they gave the model two separate but integrated bodies. The outer made of Carbon Hybrid and the inner made of Magnesium. These two bodies serve to eliminate vibrations and the combination boasts a 200% increase in heat dispersion rate as opposed to aluminum. Experts claim that the integration of two bodies is the secret of making the Lepton EX-3D wind resistant. The Head is made of aluminum and the rotor blades are made of fiberglass.
As for the battery, if you decide to purchase the "combo" version, the Lepton comes with a 4-cells Li-Po battery along with a "Balance Cell" charger. The battery takes one hour to charge - which will allow for an 8 minute worth of normal flight or 5 minutes worth of 3D flight.
The only thing might make prospective buyers stop to think a bit is the price. Being the top model, the Lepton carries a heavy price tag. In fact, its price rivals that of a gas RC helicopter. This in a way defeats the purpose of it being an electric model. However, some will say that having the "Hirobo" brand on its fuselage will make it worth its price. Also, CPA Product, the only distributor in Thailand counters any complaints regarding the Lepton's high price saying "you would buy the Lepton EX for the same reason that you would buy a Mercedes."

Radio Controlled Helicopters
Radio Controlled Helicopters
Nobody is truly complete unless they have a hobby they are passionate about. Having a hobby will give you something to spend your time on, and something to enjoy when you have free time. If you are trying to find what hobby you can stick with, you should think about experimenting with radio controlled hobbies. You can build models of almost any vehicle, from boats to cars to planes to helicopters.
Many hobbyists will get their start with Radio Controlled helicopters. Helicopters are very complicated, but using the right kits you can get started without a problem. Once you fly your helicopter, you will feel that the entire experience was very rewarding. Flying the helicopter is a blast.
The most important part of flying Radio Controlled helicopters is to be proficient in controlling it. You should understand exactly how to fly the helicopter, otherwise you run the risk of crashing it and ruining your entire investment, which is never good. Borrow a flight manual from someone who you know has a radio controlled helicopter.
Take that chance to read through it and find out about all of the different terms, and the many knobs and levers that are required to maneuver the craft through the air. After you have read through it, take someone's Radio Controlled helicopter out for a test flight to see if you have what it takes to control one of your own. If you crash it, be prepared to pay up!
After you have decided that you will be able to handle a helicopter, and that you even want a Radio Controlled helicopter, you can start looking for your own kit. You can buy Radio Controlled helicopters that come completely assembled and ready to fly right out of the box.
However, there is not much fun in this, and they will probably only allow for a few hours of entertainment. The real fun comes when you buy one of the Radio Controlled Helicopters that has to be constructed from hundreds of small plastic pieces. It may be frustrating while you are in the middle of the process, but at the end when you have a great looking helicopter that flies smoothly, you will be glad you spent the time.
Your Radio Controlled helicopters building experience does not have to be limited to the simple kits. There are many different options for extremely advanced helicopters that have different shapes and features. You can find these in specialty shops all over the internet, and even in some brick-and-mortar locations. You should not buy a helicopter just because it looks interesting.
Do research before you commit to building a particular one, so that you can find out what all it has to offer. You can find reviews and customer experiences all over the internet, on many different commerce sites. Find out about how well it flies, how easy it is to maneuver, the ease of assembly, and anything else that may matter.
So once you get everything built, what are you going to do with your radio controlled helicopter? It seems pretty boring to just take it out for a flight every weekend. If you're really passionate about it, you should look for ways that you can interact with others who are equally interested.
This can be in the form of clubs where you just go flying every month or two, or large conventions with hundreds of remote control enthusiasts crowded in, talking and exchanging ideas. Getting involved like this will give you a chance not only to have an outlet for your passion, but also to find out more about it and become better at building and flying Radio Controlled helicopters.
If the thought of flying Radio Controlled helicopters seems at all exciting to you, then look into getting a kit today. It is a great feeling to discover a new hobby that you are good at and enthusiastic about, so don't hold yourself back if you think it could be a positive addition to your life.

6 Channel Helicopters - Top Reasons You Must Purchase One
6 Channel Helicopters - Top Reasons You Must Purchase One
Have you ever heard of 6 channel remote control helicopters? If so, have you ever used one? It seems these are becoming quite a new pastime. They can be purchased at a local helicopter store or even an electronics store. These powerful helicopters may also be found at trade stores which can be used indoors and out.
These things are very flexible and any flyer will say these 6 channel remote control helicopters are most impressive in the helicopter technology.
What does the 6 channel do? It allows you to control the multiple parts in the copter's flight patterns. A person can make the helicopter fly side to side, up and down and forward and backward. Some models will tumble circles in the air.
It is not a surprise that these helicopters are much pricier and look more "lifelike" than those that fly straight. People know that helicopters are not flown by a remote but rather people. They also know there are many more buttons on a real helicopter but this one remote controlled helicopter has six channels. It is attempting to reach the actual number seen in a real one although that would be a feat. This helicopter is indeed impressive.
Even with controls over the various flight patterns, people can customize the blade types, the helicopter's body and have a custom paint job as well done to it.
However, the more you customized your helicopter, the more money you will have to shell out to get it done. Yet, it is a true pleasure to have an original, one of a kind 6 channel remote control helicopter. This is especially true of helicopter fanatics that love to design and create. Sometimes the spirit of collection outweighs what one would actually pay for it.
As bad luck would have it, one man, who is a helicopter flyer enthusiast, recently had a bad incident with his 6 channel remote control helicopter. He had left his 6 channel helicopter out one day, alone and some young school-aged children found it. They took it to the park and carried on by having a very good time with it.
The catch of it... those kids are played with it so much but hadn't taken good care of it. It came back to its original owner in a much harsher condition than it was before it was stolen. The helicopter's owner figured all the bumps, dents, scratches were always there and he just never noticed them.
When he took the helicopter back to the manufacturer for the warranty, he learned the awful truth. Not only that but the guilty party ended up feeling guilty themselves and told the man what they had done. They apologized and paid him back.
However, this experience left him with a bitter taste for these helicopters although the truth of it is... it's not the helicopter's fault. Maybe he will come around because it really was just one bad occurrence that should not have happened.
These 6 channel remote controlled helicopters are one of the best and controllable helicopters being sold in the world today. No other model helicopter is catching up like a real helicopter.

1 Rotor Blade Gas Heli (Experiment) The HAMMER-HEAD.
1 Rotor Blade Gas Heli (Experiment) The HAMMER-HEAD. On YouTube.
Please read first* Click link for fantastic FULL 3D Flight of big 1 bladed helicopter in Switzerland! www.youtube.com My "Hammer Head" rotor head with 1 main rotor blade is another experiment! Although this was the maiden flight, and more balancing needs done, I proved the Single Rotor Blade Rotor head concept to myself in my past (as seen in my single rotor bladed videos. This led me to the next step of a bigger Nitro Helicopter test. I used my one of my Vintage Kyosho Nexus 30's for this experiment. Since having success with my truly one bladed helicopter, the Hyperfly with no tail rotor blades, this was just natural and easy to do. Again, this machine and setup surprised me as it uses less power, is just as maneuverable or better than stock. My theory proven is that since there is not as much blade turbulence, the one blade is quite sufficient, using less power with longer run times on electrics, and also being quieter. My Physics Majors tell me that as long as the counter weight is on, there would be no extra stress on the bearings. Bearings get changed regular on real helis, so this is no problem normally. But if they start wobbling, I will tell you. But since it is SO smooth, I think the bearings will last longer, however I have never burned out a bearing in any helicopter, not even a gas one. That's because I crash them long before that. LOL! So I think bigger heli's could use this technique someday, but in the mean time, I will continue to fly my Heli's with one ...

RC Helicopter Blades - Should You Trust the Reviews?
RC Helicopter Blades - Should You Trust the Reviews?
As a globally recognized radio controlled helicopter pilot with dozens of medals and rewards, I know a thing or two concerning blades on RC helicopters, and the issues that they can occasionally cause. There's a guy who left a high-quality evaluation for a company that didn't know enough about to write an educated assessment, there are additionally stories about individuals who left bad reviews when actually the product was quite useful, and subsequently they were by no means asked to create a review for another business again, and this small error cost them thousands as well.
But the moral of the short article is, constantly make 100% sure that your evaluation are well examined and that you do not place your name on everything unless you sincerely trust that it is a high quality product, even then at the same moment, it's extremely easy to merely write badly about anything, but you must also dodge that if you ever would like to be certified for any more reviews again. When it comes to rc helicopter blades, I was extremely fortunate to be a part of a detailed rc helicopter blade testing lesson, so I could envision what are crucial things to check whilst you're looking into buying another rc helicopter for your large or small collection, and especially once you're getting prepared to pay for your very first radio controlled helicopter.
Fundamentally, the blades are ultra important. They must be able to take a lot of damage, just in case you are not a very skilled flyer, for the reason that it is the blades that will sometimes run into objects and become broken. At the same instant, you do not wish for the blades to be too sharp, for the reason that you do not want them to break any of your other things, especially if you are flying the RC helicopter in your house (which I attempt to discourage in every circumstances, but Everyone does it). All together, you're best off going with a helicopter that has strong metal or plastic blades-although the plastic blades tend to be lighter, so they are sometimes the better bet, but the metal blades tend to be more durable, so it's really anyone's guess. And you moreover want to look for blades that are rounded at the ends. This is not only useful because rounded ends are more sleek, it is also great for the reason that you can guard your body and your family from wounding themselves on the radio controlled helicopter blades while they are, for example, landing a helicopter down from the sky.
There's a good friend of mine who had a helicopter on top of her bed, and she did not have any idea to get rounded blades, and once she reached to grab it down, she instantly dropped it, and in fact cut her hands very seriously. She did not need stitches, but it was still a very scary occurrence for her that she might have easily avoided by just buying a RC helicopter with rounded ends on the wings. In some other situations, I hear about some people that purchased metal blades on their rc helicopters, and the remnants of the helicopter was not built strongly enough to hold up the heavy metal blades, and these rc helicopters by no means fly properly.
